John (Program #28) – The Need of the Dead – Life’s Resurrecting

Lazarus comes forth, but he still has his grave clothes on. So, what the Lord told the ones around him is, “loose him and let him go”. We still need the brothers and sisters. When we meet with them, we are loose and we are free to follow Christ with those who cooperate with the Lord in resurrection.

This is the conclusion of a long section from John 3 through John 11 that shows us how Christ as the divine, eternal, uncreated life of God meets the need of every man’s case.

John (Program #22) – The Need of the Hungry – Life’s Feeding (2)

I love this connection between the Spirit and the Word because it gives me a way in my daily life to come to the Lord and contact Him and feed on Him and drink Him in. So in our daily living, we have Christ as the living bread, the bread of life, the bread of God.

We come again today to chapter 6 in John.  We saw how the Lord fed the thousands and that was really to show how He meets the need of the hungry and now the disciples are fed but they have another problem.

John (Program #14) – The Need of the Moral People – Life’s Regenerating (1)

Regardless of how cold you are or how bad you are, as long as you are a human being, you need to be terminated. And, you need to be germinated, germinated with the divine life.

Life meeting the need of man’s every case. From chapter 3 through chapter 11, altogether John, the writer, selected 9 cases from many, many things done by the Lord, maybe thousands of cases. But, John only selected 9 of so many cases to illustrate how the Lord as life can meet the need of every man’s case.

Luke (Program #44) – The Man-Savior’s Presentation of Himself to Death for Redemption (4)

One item that seems to interest all believers is the rapture of the Christians at the time of the Lord second coming. The prevailing thought among believers today is that the rapture rescues all the saved ones so that they do not have to pass through the suffering associated with the great tribulation.  But the Bible if you read it carefully just does not support such a view. Because it depicts aspect of the rapture taking place at different times. In history these passages had led to confusions, and strong disputing among the brothers and sisters in the Lord. We will touch some of this confusing matters today.  If the Lord is merciful, we would be brought into a clearer view of this very crucial matter.

Ezekiel (Program #23) – The Priests and the Offerings

The Lord revealed to Ezekiel that above all, He desires a place on the earth where He can put the soles of His feet that would also be the place of His throne. In other words, God desires to have a dwelling place, a place of rest and satisfaction; and, a place where He can administrate His heavenly rule and His divine move over the entire earth. This is the real significance of the house of God as revealed to Ezekiel and as revealed to us, the church, which is the reality of the house of God in the New Testament. But after we receive such a high revelation concerning the significance of God’s building, we need a further realization as to the kind of persons that are qualified to serve Him in His house.

Hebrews (Program #34) – The Indestructible Life

We should really open to the Lord and to the Word, and to this ministry, to learn more, appreciate more, and experience and enjoy more of Christ as our High Priest.  The New Testament book of Hebrews shows us a kingly and majestic view of Christ in His priesthood – offering, ministering, and saving.  These three functions of our heavenly High Priest will open up our heart and uplift our appreciation of God’s full salvation.
