Isaiah (Program #30) – The Great Light for the Shining in the Darkness

Darkness.  Just the word conveys a lot of images.  It’s one thing to be in a dark room, a room void of light.  It’s another thing to feel darkness within.  It’s possibly the most graphic symbol of what it is to be without God.  We have all been there, may be you are there right now.  Isaiah 9 says “The people who walked in the darkness have seen a great light; Upon those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death Light has shined.”

2 Timothy (Program #9) – The Issue of the Decline

The apostle Paul gave an intimate word to Timothy in his 2nd epistle to him in 4:9 “Be diligent to come to me quickly;” and in verse 10 we find the reason for Paul’s eagerness to see Timothy, “For Demas has abandoned me, having loved the present age.“

Isaiah (Program #29) – A Sanctuary to the Positive Ones…a Trap and a Snare to the Negative Ones

1 Peter chapter 2 reveals Christ as the stone which the builders rejected.  “This has become the head of the corner, and a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense; who stumble at the word,”  This word was quoted from Isaiah 8 and reveals Christ not simply as the Savior but as the One of God’s purpose and plan.  How do you know Him?  Do you know Him as your Savior?  If you do, do you know Him as the Stone?

2 Timothy (Program #8) – The Incentive to the Inoculator

We all like prizes or awards and the Lord knows that so He is given us all incentives. The Lord Jesus said in Revelation 22:12 “Behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me to render to each one as his work is.”

Paul told us that he has a crown of righteousness waiting for him as a reward because he kept the faith.  The Lord Jesus is coming back and He will have His rewards with Him.  Stay with us as we talk about the incentives to the inoculator.

2 Timothy (Program #6) – The Antidote of the Inoculation

At the end of the apostle Paul’s life, he wrote 2 Timothy, the last of his 14 New Testament epistles.  The subject of 2 Timothy is : the inoculation against the decline of the church.  The Holy Spirit through Paul gave us the antidote of this inoculation in chapter 3 to fight against the downward trend of the church and that’s where we’ve arrived in our life study today.

And our focal point today is the word of God, the antidote of the divine inoculation against the decline of the church.
