\"\"Leviticus (Program #5) – The Burnt Offering – Christ for God’s Satisfaction (3)<\/p>\n

The book of Leviticus is comprised of two main sections: the first ten chapters cover the offerings and the priesthood; chapters 11 to 27 cover the holy living of God\u2019s holy people. Today, we\u2019re covering the offerings which are the picture of Christ – the Lamb of God, the fulfillment of all the offerings. These pictures from the Old Testament are a great enlightenment and inspiration for us today.<\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 14:26 says, \u201c\u2026Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.\u201d The apostle Paul was saying that when believers come to the church meetings, they should have something of the Lord to share with others but what a contrast to the situation we see in church meetings today.<\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 14 is a classic chapter to show us how we Christians should meet as the church. As we go through this portion in Leviticus, we\u2019ll see in typology how we as Christians need to experience Christ and enjoy Christ so that we could appreciate Him more and more. Then we can present Him to one another for one another\u2019s nourishment and for God\u2019s glory and satisfaction so that the church can be built up.<\/p>\n
