{"id":2081,"date":"2024-06-09T06:05:22","date_gmt":"2024-06-09T11:05:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.biblestudyradio.org\/?p=2081"},"modified":"2024-06-09T06:05:22","modified_gmt":"2024-06-09T11:05:22","slug":"leviticus-program-37","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblestudyradio.org\/?p=2081","title":{"rendered":"Leviticus (Program #37)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-13\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudyradio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/bible.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"133\" height=\"150\" \/>Leviticus (Program #37) &#8211; The Sabbath Year and the Jubilee (1)<\/p>\n<p>The gospel of Luke chapter 4 has a wonderful and often quoted passage: &#8220;The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to announce the gospel of the poor; He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away in release those who are oppressed\/ To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, <em>the year of jubilee<\/em>.&#8221;  The Lord Jesus was actually quoting from Isaiah in this passage but the reference to the year of jubilee is found in Leviticus chapter 25.
