Christ, through His blood solves our problem with God.\u00a0 The Bible calls this propitiation, a big word.\u00a0 It may sound daunting, but it’s a most wonderful word when we get into all that it means for us.\u00a0 Another related word speaks of the place of propitiation.\u00a0 This is the place where God meets and speaks with man.\u00a0 This place in the Old Testament was the Ark of the Testimony.\u00a0 But to find this place today where we can meet with God and hear God’s speaking is the most blessed discovery for His people.\u00a0\u00a0 Don’t miss our final program on the Ark of the Testimony on today’s life study of the Bible.<\/p>\n

Today’s word is somewhat of an overview or summary.\u00a0 The Ark was, as we’ve discussed,\u00a0 a piece of furniture.\u00a0 Actually, the most important or preeminent item in the tabernacle.\u00a0 As we’ve seen, basically it was a box.\u00a0 A box made of a particular kind of wood, acacia wood and this box was overlaid within and without with gold.\u00a0 We’ve much impressed that these materials hold a great deal of significance as we see the Ark is a type of Christ.\u00a0 For just as Christ has two natures, human and divine, these materials represents these two natures.<\/p>\n
