{"id":6862,"date":"2024-09-18T06:20:22","date_gmt":"2024-09-18T11:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.biblestudyradio.org\/?p=6862"},"modified":"2024-09-18T06:20:22","modified_gmt":"2024-09-18T11:20:22","slug":"ephesians-program-48","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblestudyradio.org\/?p=6862","title":{"rendered":"Ephesians  (Program #48)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-21\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudyradio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/bible_light.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/>Ephesians  (Program #48) &#8211; A Mysterious Type of Christ and the Church<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s well known among Christians that Ephesians Chapter 5 offers many meaningful and helpful words for married couple embarking on life journey together.\u00a0 It reads in verse 31 &amp; 32, &#8220;<em>For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh<\/em>.&#8221;\u00a0 But far beyond its&#8217; value for our married life, it actually reveals the longing deep within the heart of God for a counter part for Christ.\u00a0 &#8220;<em>This mystery is great, (Paul continues) but I speak with regard to Christ and the church.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To understand this aspect more fully, we need to return to the very first pages of the Bible on Genesis Chapter 2,\u00a0 &#8220;<em>And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place.
