Dealing with the Elders<\/p>\n<p>1 Timothy 5:17 says, &#8220;<em>Let the elders who take the lead well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in word and teaching.&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\nBut then the apostle follows in verse 19, addressing how to take care of problems in the Church. &#8220;<em>Against an elder do not receive an accusation, except based upon two or three witnesses.<\/em>&#8221;
