{"id":7937,"date":"2026-04-28T06:05:35","date_gmt":"2026-04-28T11:05:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.biblestudyradio.org\/?p=7937"},"modified":"2026-04-28T06:05:35","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T11:05:35","slug":"mark-program-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblestudyradio.org\/?p=7937","title":{"rendered":"Mark (Program #1)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-7676\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudyradio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/bible_light.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>Mark (Program #1) &#8211; A Word of Introduction (1)<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s very interesting to pay attention to how each of the four gospels begin.\u00a0 Matthew, a gospel that focuses on the kingdom, begins with the long genealogy of Christ, demonstrating that He is the bonafide heir of David the king.\u00a0 Luke, on the other hand also shows us the genealogy but not that of a king, rather it&#8217;s a genealogy of a proper and upright man.\u00a0 The gospel of John begins in a much different way &#8211; &#8220;In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.&#8221;\u00a0 John is the gospel that reveals Christ&#8217;s divinity.<\/p>\n<p>But what about the gospel of Mark? \u00a0 Mark has no genealogy what so ever. Because Mark is the gospel revealing not just the humanity of Jesus, but that in His humanity Jesus Christ took the position of a slave.
