{"id":9159,"date":"2024-06-15T06:20:52","date_gmt":"2024-06-15T11:20:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.biblestudyradio.org\/?p=9159"},"modified":"2024-06-15T06:20:52","modified_gmt":"2024-06-15T11:20:52","slug":"2-corinthians-program-53","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblestudyradio.org\/?p=9159","title":{"rendered":"2 Corinthians (Program #53)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-7676\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biblestudyradio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/bible_light.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>2 Corinthians (Program #53) &#8211; Paul&#8217;s Vindication of His Apostolic Authority (8)<\/p>\n<p>The last four chapters of 2 Corinthians are known as Paul&#8217;s vindication of His apostolic authority.\u00a0 On one hand it was something of a shame that Paul was compelled to make such defense on his own behalf.\u00a0 It&#8217;s in this light that he says in chapter 11 &#8220;<em>What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord but as if in foolishness, in this confidence of boasting.<\/em>&#8221; (11:17)\u00a0 But in the same section just a few verses later, chapter 12 he says &#8220;<em>All this time you have been thinking that we are defending ourselves to you.
