Mark (Program #18) – The Move of the Slave-Savior’s Gospel Service (6)

At the certain point in the gospel service of the Slave-Savior, the gospel of Mark gives us a most interesting account.  Traveling far to the North of Jerusalem and even of Galilee, the Lord Jesus and His disciples came to the region of Tyre and Syden, a land not of the Jews but of the gentiles.  Mark chapter 7 and also in Matthew and in chapter 15, we have a story of one such gentile, a woman who approaches Jesus because of the sickness of her daughter. What follows is truly remarkable. It’s an account of the encounter that take place when this woman refuses to be turned away because she lack a proper understanding. And she finds a way using the Lord’s own word to get what she was so desperately seeking.

Psalms (Program #3) – Christ in God’s Economy versus the Law in Man’s Appreciation (2)

The Bible is not an ordinary book.  Though it surely contains a lot of history, we should not read it as a history book. It also contains scores of moral and behavioral imperatives but we should not take it as a book of ethics.  Neither should we approach the Bible as a book of philosophy . Because beyond all of these things, history, ethics, philosophy, The Bible is in its’ essence, God’s own breath revealing the Christ of God enable to convey God Himself as life into those who come to seeking nothing else but His very person.

Philippians (Program #21) – Seeking to Know Christ, the Power of His Resurrection, and the Fellowship of His Sufferings

Philippians 3:8-11 for those who love the Lord Jesus and the Word of God this has to be the cherished portion of the Word.  “But moreover I also count all things to be loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as refuse that I may gain Christ.  And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness which is out of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is out of God and based on faith, To know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.” This portion of the Word is altogether in the realm of experience and enjoyment and certainly not one of any doctrine. This is marvelous.

Galatians 6 reveals 2 kinds of people who apparently are seeking after God. One kind boasts in their zealousness towards their religion, and their dutiful observance and practice of law keeping. The Apostle Paul represents the other class of God’s seekers; those who only boast in the cross of Christ.  To which class do you belong?  Stay with us as we look at what it really means to be a New Creation in Christ.

The phrase “a new creation” appears in Galatians 6:15. But, many people may be familiar with the translations that render this phrase as “In Christ we have become a new creature.” Which is it, creature or creation? It is definitely creation…

We thank the Lord for His Word and His faithfulness. We have now concluded the life study of both the Old Testament and the New Testament in the Bible. It has been three years since we first started the broadcast on this web site. It is our earnest desire that this open, interpreted Word would be available to all the seeking believers around the world, to know and experience the deeper truth in the Bible.

Revelation 22:21 says, “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.” Only the grace of the Lord Jesus can enable us to live and walk according to the visions and prophecies. The entire Bible closes with this grace, the grace that enables us to experience the all-inclusive Christ and participate in the Triune God that we may become His eternal corporate expression for the fulfillment of His eternal purpose, that He and we may enjoy absolute satisfaction and complete rest mutually for eternity. Amen.
