Exodus (Program #132) – The Sanctification of Aaron and His Sons to be the Priests (3) Redemption and Germination, Sanctification by Hands Filled

The record given in Exodus is very detailed about many spiritual matters, like the service of the Old Testament priesthood.  Chapter 29 in fact began this way “And this is what you shall do to them to sanctify them to serve Me as priests..”.  The following verses gave items after items of instructions.  But no where in the New Testament do we find such an account of how to sanctify the New Testament priests or even how to serve as the New Testament priests.  Yet the Bible clearly tells us that all the believers in Christ are the real priests.

John (Program #20) – The Need of the Impotent – Life’s Enlivening

God never intended to have a religion. Actually, religion is to worship God, to serve God, and to live for God without Christ. This shows us that even today as Christians, we can have Christ just in terminology, but we may not have Christ as our living reality.

Luke (Program #24) – The Ministry of the Man-Savior in His Human Virtues with His Divine Attributes from Galilee to Jerusalem (3)

There is a small village just outside of Jerusalem called Bethany. It was the home of two sisters named Martha and Mary, who not only loved the Lord Jesus deeply, but were compelled to serve Him as well. This should be the case for any true lovers of the Lord Jesus after we have experienced His undying love for us. We should not only love Him in return, but be filled with the heart’s desire to serve Him.

Mark (Program #2) – A Word of Introduction (2)

Many people wonder why the Bible gives us four historical accounts of the life and ministry in Jesus. One of reasons is the each of the four gospels portrays Christ in a unique aspect.  For example, Matthew a book on the kingdom of God reveals Christ in His kingship. Luke shows us Christ’s perfect and upright humanity as a genuine man.  John on the other hand stresses the eternal, uncreated life of God as it is revealed in Christ. John is the gospel of Christ’s divinity.

Then what about Mark?  Well, chapter 10:45 gives us a clue,  “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Mark is wonderful in that it uniquely reveals that Christ lay aside His kingship, His status as God and even His position as a high and honored man to become God’s servant and eventually to become a slave to all mankind giving His life as a ransom for many.
